MAIN SA 491 is used to produce coated paper or cardboard for food packaging. These papers are used for:

Packaging frozen food, fresh food (cold-resistant).

Waterproof, oil-proof and water vapor-proof cardboard for continuous refrigeration storage.

MAIN SA 491 can also be used to coat some technical paper, making it difficult to be permeated by water and gas.

Application method

MAIN SA 491 is a free flowing white emulsion which can be used alone or in combination with adhesives.

It can be used in coatings.

The dosage of MAIN SA 491 in coatings is between 6-10g/m2.

Examples of application

MAIN SA 491 is used in 250 g/m2 coating, the dosage is 8 g/m2. Paper treated with MAIN SA491
