Application and advantages

MAIN-AP is used as lubricant in high-grade coated paper. It can reduce the wear of coating on the roll surface of calender and coating scraper. It can reduce scraper marks, improve surface smoothness and reduce paper surface roughness.

Dosage: In paint formulation, 0.3-0.6 parts of MAIN-AP (commodity) is enough.

MAIN-AP can be used as lubricant instead of calcium stearate alone in paint formulation, or mixed with calcium stearate in a certain proportion.

MAIN-AP is a synthetic polymer polyethylene wax product. Its melting point is relatively low, it softens under the action of high temperature, and it is more plasticity on the surface of coatings. Because of the above characteristics, this product has the following advantages in the use of paper coatings as lubricant:

Improve wet friction, improve printability and reduce powder dropping during printing.

Improve the overall smoothness of the coating surface, improve smoothness and roughness.
